Ghost Tour through St Donat's Castle

St Donat's Castle is reputed to be one of the most haunted places in Wales, and is associated with numerous tales of the supernatural.

Ghosts that have repeatedly been witnessed include that of Lady Stradling, said to be a stately old lady, wearing high-heeled shoes and a trailing long dress. She is often seen in the Long Gallery, with her appearance being said to be a warning of impending disaster.

Other ghosts at the Castle include what is described as a horrible-looking old witch who has been seen in the Armoury; a phantom panther padding around one of the corridors; a mysterious disembodied eye in several of the guest rooms; and invisible hands playing the piano even when the lid is shut.

Other social events will include a Welcome Reception on the first day, a Banquet Dinner, and - Welsh weather conditions permitting - a Barbeque Dinner in the castle gardens.
