CDDFT Immunology is a small department with a highly dedicated team of 8 individuals. As departmental manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Immunology service. The successful post holder will demonstrate a high level of analytical & judgemental skills with an ability to take appropriate action based on their own interpretation of broad clinical, professional, administrative, technical and scientific policies. You will work closely with the Clinical Lead to maintain and develop a quality Immunology service.
As a senior post holder in CDDFT you will be required to be an inspirational leader and great line manager. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, willing to challenge the status quo and demonstrates a can do approach to the delivery of services
Applications are invited from registered Biomedical Scientists who have relevant Immunology experience at a senior level. You will hold FIBMS, and preferably have a management qualification or demonstrable experience of management, scientific leadership, have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to work flexibly. Continued Professional Development is an essential requirement for the post holder and they must promote and encourage the concept of CPD to all staff under their direction.
A visit to the laboratory is highly recommended to those interested in this post
