BSI Congress 2010

The BSI is pleased to announce that Congress 2010 will be held from Monday 6 December through to Friday 10 December 2010 at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool.

Proposed plenary sessions include:

  • Vaccines, pathogens, immunology and the developing world
  • Regulating the immune response, stages of regulations (mechanisms in different cells), B regs, real life migration videos
  • TLRs and infection: the 700 million year conflict

Proposed parallel sessions include:

  • From chips to drugs
  • Cancer bad boys
  • Immunosurveillance: ‘Initiation of immunity: antigen presenting cells take the back seat’.
  • New perspectives on biological and cellular therapy of inflammation
  • Regulatory T cells come of age
  • The diseases called asthma
  • Immunology in the market place
  • DAMPs/RAMPs, inflammation and immunotherapy
  • Hereditary angioedema: a national audit
  • Engineering antigen receptors for superior immunity
